From 2002 to 2007 Black became Chief Designer of Womenswear and Accessories Co-ordinator at the eponymous fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo, Florence. Finally moving onto become the brands Creative Consultant, being responsible for the co-ordination of collections and staging the biannual fashion show in Milan, as well as one-off events in the US and Far East.
